Random Talker is a free, anonymous, voice-only chat app for talking to a random stranger anywhere in the world — no camera, no signup, no download.
Why voice-only
Most random-chat apps default to video, which means the moment you connect you're on camera in front of a stranger — that's exactly the exposure that made earlier platforms like Omegle a safety problem for a lot of people. We built Random Talker voice-only on purpose: you get the same spontaneity of meeting someone new, without a webcam feed either of you has to worry about.
Who it's for
People practicing a language and wanting real conversation instead of an app drilling flashcards. People who are bored at 2am and just want to talk to someone. People who'd rather have a genuine conversation than scroll another feed. No profiles, no matching algorithm based on your data — just press start and you're talking to someone.
How we keep it safe
- Calls are peer-to-peer and are never recorded or stored.
- You can skip to a new conversation instantly, no explanation needed.
- One-tap reporting for logged-in users — reports are reviewed and acted on.
- 18+ only. Underage accounts are removed.
- No camera, ever — voice-only isn't a mode, it's the whole product.
